Daniel GwertzmanSenior Associate
Daniel Gwertzman is a Senior Associate at the firm. He focuses his practice on the litigation and arbitration of disputes arising within the securities and financial services sector, along with employment law and other areas of commercial and business litigation.
Mr. Gwertzman brings with him a wealth of securities industry experience, with an in-depth exposure to a wide spectrum of financial products, from equities and fixed income, to a more complex array of exchange-traded and over-the-counter derivatives. Mr. Gwertzman has paired his securities expertise with an evolving litigation skill set, developed during his time at the University of Miami School of Law.
Mr. Gwertzman’s law school tenure included membership to both the editorial council of the University of Miami Business Law Review and the Charles C. Papy, Jr. Moot Court Board. Mr. Gwertzman also served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable Edwin G. Torres of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and as a Certified Legal Intern with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office. In addition, Mr. Gwertzman contributed over two hundred hours of pro bono services through his work with the Securities Litigation Workshop and Children and Youth Law Clinic.
